AGT FLORIDA CUP

A Ryder Cup style competition between the Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa AGT tours.  Each tour will select a team that includes 8 players from each of the 5 flights.  Each tour will conduct qualifying beginning in mid July to select their team.  Each team is allowed one captain’s pick for each flight.  Standings from each tour’s qualifying will be updated on this site with the top seven automatically qualifying from each flight.

DATE:  December 10-11, 2011
PLACE:  Falcon’s Fire Golf Club
COST:  $225.
TIME:  AM & PM Shotguns on Saturday, Tee Times Sunday followed by presentation of the AGT FLORIDA CUP.
FORMAT:  3 rounds of match play:
          Saturday 8:00 AM Shotgun—Foursomes (Alternate Shot)
          Saturday 1:00 PM Shotgun—Fourball (Best Ball)
          Saturday 5:30 PM—Italian Buffet, Singles pairings announced.
          Sunday 7:30 AM, Straight Tee Times—Singles
LODGING:  Space has been reserved at the Comfort Suites Maingate East at Old Town.  Once you have qualified, you can reserve a room.  Identify yourself as a Golfweek Amateur Tour member playing at Falcon’s Fire.  The rate for a suite that sleeps up to six guests is $69.80 per room, per night.

Each player will receive a shirt, cap and individual award for competing.  There is no additional prize money.  You are playing for your tour!
